Students from the Department of Catering and Hotel Management, Hindusthan College, Coimbatore, showcased exceptional culinary talent at the prestigious Better Kitchen Culinary Challenges held on January 30, 2026, in Trichy.
The competition was conducted in association with the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department (Incredible India) and the State Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Trichy. A total of 45 teams from across Tamil Nadu participated in various categories, including Bakery, Food & Beverage Service, and Indian Cuisine.
Demonstrating outstanding skill, creativity, and professionalism, the Hindusthan College team secured multiple podium finishes. The students won Second Position in the Better Kitchen Bakery Competition, Second Position in the F&B Young Masters Challenge, and Third Position in the Everest Culinary Challenge.
These remarkable achievements have earned the team a place in the National Grand Finale to be held in Mumbai, where they will represent Hindusthan College at the national level.
The success reflects the institution’s strong commitment to excellence in hospitality education and hands-on professional training. Faculty members and college authorities congratulated the students for bringing pride and recognition to the institution through their dedication and hard work.
