The Department of Catering Science & Hotel Management of Hindusthan College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Coimbatore, is organizing an Elevator Pitch event titled “Shaping Skills – Crafting Success.”
The event will be held on 08.01.2026 (Thursday) at 9.30 a.m. at the Chanakya Hall, located within the college campus.
In this special programme, Dr. M. Thirulogachandar from the Indian Institute of Culinary Arts, Tirupati, a Consultant and Senior Chef, will participate as the Chief Guest and deliver a special address.
Through this programme, students of Catering and Hotel Management will receive guidance on:
Refining professional skills
Developing practical exposure
Preparing for employment opportunities
Learning effective Elevator Pitch techniques to present themselves confidently within a short span of time
The event is coordinated by Chef P. Sridharan, Assistant Professor, Department of Catering Science & Hotel Management.
The programme is organized under the leadership of Dr. P. Premkanna, Head of the Department of Catering Science & Hotel Management.
The event is being conducted with the support and encouragement of the Principal, Dr. A. Ponnusamy.
